Meeting Report

Regulas Shipping Pvt. Ltd. successfully conducted its Half-Yearly Technical, QHSE & Marine Review Meeting on 16 July 2026 at the Head Office. The event brought together the shore management team, vessel management staff, and senior officers from the fleet to review the company's performance during the first half of 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Sailing Chief Engineer (CE), Chief Officer (CO), and crew members who were specially invited to participate in the technical and safety discussions. All Regulas Shipping office staff were also present, demonstrating the company's commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

The review covered

  • Technical performance of the fleet
  • QHSE performance and safety initiatives
  • Marine operational performance
  • KPI achievements, off-hire records, and BAR reviews
  • Challenges encountered during the period and lessons learned
  • Improvement plans and the way forward for the second half of 2026

A key highlight of the event was an insightful Port State Control (PSC) awareness session delivered by Mr. Seshadri (Ex-DNV). His presentation, titled "PSC – Do It Right," focused on PSC inspection procedures, common deficiencies leading to detentions, preparation before inspections, and best practices for Masters, Chief Engineers, and shipboard teams. The session provided valuable practical guidance to enhance PSC readiness and improve compliance with international maritime regulations.

The event concluded with an interactive discussion between the management team and the sailing officers, reinforcing Regulas Shipping's commitment to safe operations, regulatory compliance, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

"One Fleet. One Team. One Goal – Safe Operations, Sustainable Future."
